the Kimball Terrace Inn and Main Sail Restaurant will be a memorable
stop for your group.
The
Kimball Terrace Inn offers 70 spacious rooms with two double beds,
private bath, cable television. Telephones, air-conditioning, hair
dryers, irons and ironing boards, 52 rooms have patios or private
balconies overlooking the Northeast Harbor Yacht Marina and Mountains
of Acadia. Our office is staffed 24 hours in season. On property we
offer conference facilities, gift shop, lounge area with colored television
and board games and large outside pool. Ample parking is available
for Motor Coaches.
The
Main Sail Restaurant offers seating for up to 250 people, full service
lounge and outside deck. All dining levels offer views of the Northeast
Harbor Yacht Marina. Open daily we offer a complete breakfast, lunch
and dinner menu's along with daily chef's specials. In addition, we
offer a selection of group meals that can be tailored for a quick
lunch, a full buffet or sit down dinner. Our Maine Lobster Bake is
a treasured memory to many groups.
Nearby
just a short walk from the inn is the village of Northeast Harbor
which offers an intriguing selection of unique shops. Your group may
want to take a sightseeing cruise from the marina. Golf, tennis, bike
rentals, and hiking trails are minutes away. Only 12 miles to the
village of Bar Harbor and 3 miles to one of the entrances of Acadia
National Park.
